I've owned this lamp for about two years and have not experienced any of the problems described by others. The light is bright, although it is better for task lighting, rather than illuminating a whole desk.

So it's a nice compact light. I chose it specifically for the moveable head and the LEDs I would think would probably never go bad (or last so long I wouldn't care). Other lamps all seem to have special replacement bulbs. My only problem with it is the visible light cast from the LEDs isn't exactly white or a soft white. It is tinted ever so slightly green not quite white. If it was a whiter light, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Great pattern, I know the normal Anais and Anais are very soft... this one initially feels quite harsh to me however perhaps once it's been washed it will soften up?

I had already bought the organic Oasis swaddle off the aiden & anais website for $25 plus shipping. As soon as it arrived I loved it and realized i wanted another, but honestly didn't like the design/pattern/color schemes of the multi-packs so was willing to spend more on another organic just to have a more muted/sophisticated pattern. this Star Gazer one is the best deal ever & its not even on the website (?) but its the real deal! i LOVE the pattern and the price can't be beat -- especially with free shipping -- its a steal. i love these swaddles as our daughter was long at one month old and fussed everytime we swaddled her w regular swaddle blankets and absolutely hated the summer infant velcro one we got .. she would wake herself breaking out of it! i think she was too hot as when we swaddled her with this one she was perfect .. she even had mobility but was snug. now, at 2 & 1/2 months we only swaddle her legs and mostly for warmth. i find these swaddles to be the best deal because i use them in so many ways when out -- as a sun shield on the stroller canopy, as a burp cloth, a casual nursing cover, and a scarf/ throw for me -- especially when i have her in the carrier... i can cover her easily with breathable fabric that doesn't scream "cheesy baby design". i know i will use this for many many years in many many ways.

I'm a first time mom, and I got this as a shower gift from another first time mom who received one as a gift and loved it so much she bought me one. I LOVE IT! It is bigger than those cheapo flannel receiving blankets you get at babies r us and therefore is easier to keep the baby swaddled tightly. My baby is quite wiggly and could easily escape the smaller blankets and got all tangled up. The larger blanket made it easier to swaddle her tightly.

I also use it as a lightweight crib blanket because it is large enough to tuck tightly around the crib mattress (again, most swaddling blankets are too small to do this, and they end up coming undone and posing a suffocation hazard to baby). I use this for everything. I used it in the first months as a swaddle and cover for when I breastfed. It is so breathable that I can cover the baby eating without worry that she'll won't be able to breathe freely while nursing. I also use it to cover our black car seat when it is hot out to keep it cool. I use it in the stroller as a blanket and even as a tummy time blanket. It is very lightweight so it folds up nicely to put in a diaper bag. However, because it is so lightweight it doesn't work very well as a blanket to lay on the lawn (although, I still use it for that to).

I have been using this blanket for seven months straight and washing/drying it at least once/week and it has held up very well - and just like they say, it gets softer and softer.

I would definitely recommend to any moms out there. I also appreciated that my friend bought the organic version which, price wise, is a bit of a luxury for us :)

The sheets feel really thick and soft but when I opened the package they had a really bad strong smell. They say they were made in India, so this may be why.

These sheets smell like the plastic they came in. I've washed them 3 times and the smell is still there. I'm not fussy or overly sensitive about the way things smell, but there is no way I could put these in my son's crib as they are now. I'll try hanging them outside to see if that helps. The sheets are soft and I think I would like them if they didn't smell as badly as they do. I'm extremely disappointed in this purchase, although it is not Amazon's fault.

As other reviewers mentioned, these sheets became pilly within a couple washes. However, the sheets stayed soft and are great winter crib sheets. When I first opened the package, I also noticed the smell other reviewers mentioned, but it disappeared with washing for us.

I live alone and in Houston, TX. I find this product to last quite a while. Even if I go well past the suggested expiration of the filter, I find the water to taste great. This is probably because I do not use it as much as a family would, but I find it to be valuable that the product lasts as long as it does. The price is great on Amazon as well.

One thing I have noticed about Brita water (filtered from Houston tap) is that it tastes really great out of the fridge, but if I let it sit on my nightstand all night and then take a sip in the morning, it does not taste as great. Nonetheless, you cannot beat the quality of this product.

Side note: I am from San Angelo in West Texas and the water from the tap is horrendous out there. I brought my Brita home for a few months while I was abroad, urging my parents to try it, so they did. The water just was not that great out of the Brita in this area. This cannot be the product's fault because of the poor grade of the water in those parts of the state, but I did want to forewarn potential buyers. This product is great for places like Houston, College Station, and other areas with decent tap water. However, if your water is really unappealing, you are probably going to need a more expensive fix such as an R/O filtration system. The Brita will be good to fill your coffeemaker with, but it probably will not be as enjoyable to drink straight.

I've been using a brita pitcher for years but always fall into the habit of not replacing them when they're supposed to be replaced usually because they're just too darn expensive. Well, thank goodness for Amazon because now I've found such a great deal, plus I usually order 6 at a time and get free shipping making each filter end up being less than $6! Even wal-mart doesn't have those kinds of prices.
